So I want to design my own invitatiosn for the reception, but I was very dissapointed with what I was finding online. I Can't Decide...

So I'm getting married in August, and I can't decide if I should have a wedding dress. For a long time, we were just planning on eloping and I was just going to buy a temple dress and that was it and it was going to be so smart and efficient and practical. But the more I plan the wedding, the more I realize how important it is. It is the only time I will ever get married and the only time of my life I will ever be able to have one and of course every girl needs a wedding dress, right? But they are just so darn expensive. The plan was to just spend money on plane tickets and that was it for our wedding, so like 1500 tops. Well, now things came up and we have to pay for the hotel too, which is another 1000. And wedding dresses are just so darn expensive if you want a modest one. And plus, hardly anyone will even be at my wedding, so hardly anyone would even see me in it on my wedding day. I would wear it for the reception too of course, but still, it's not quite the same. In fact, I don't even care about wearing it to the reception. I would, but it doesn't matter. I just want one for my wedding day.....and really just for the pictures since no one would even see it. And it is silly to spend 600+ on one dress just for a few pictures, right? I just can't justify it. But it's my wedding....

Engagement

So this post is way past due but... I'm Engaged!

...to Tsutomu Akira Aguilar! On February 7th, I hung out with Tommy all day. Then he played me a song he had written on his guitar and sang it to me and then gave me the ring! It is very beautiful, a heart-shaped diamond with little diamonds on either side of it. We took it to be sized, but it is still too big. I need to get it sized again.

Anyway, we are getting married on August 12th in the Kona Hawaii Temple at 12:00 (We just got the confirmation letter!!!). We are staying at a resort and spa on the beach for one week before coming home. Then, we are having a reception/openhouse/BBQ at the pavillions at the church in Gillette on the 20th to which everyone is invited!
