Fun Stuff

Last weekend Tommy and I went with some friends to Denver to go to a haunted house. First, we stopped by Boondocks to hang out for a while. Boondocks is a fun place in Denver with an arcade, bumper boats, go carts, laser tag, mini golf, and foot courts. We played laser tag, which I had never done before....i lost badly.... and mini golfed. Then we played some aracade games until it was time for the haunted house. The haunted house is called the Asylum, our friends had gone to it last year and said it was really scary. They have professional makeup artists and everything. So we were really excited. It wasn't as scary as I expected but it was really well done and a lot of fun. We'll probably go back next year.

The weekend before, Tommy's parents and Grandparents came for a marching band competition that Tommy's sister was in at UW. Tommy's grandparents took us out to Perkins where I tried green bean fries for the first time. Tommy's whole family loves them and so they said I had to try them. They were delicious! I would recommend it if your ever at Perkins or TGIFridays or wherever they serve them. Anyway, last week we wanted to try making our own. This is what they looked like:

They were pretty good, but I'm still working on perfecting my recipe.

I LOVE Halloween!!

Tommy and I both LOVE Halloween, so we decided to keep it going all through the month. THis weekend we decorated and carved our first pumpkin. We want to do at least a pumpkin a week all month. Plus we will have lots of pumpkin seeds!! WE also made a Halloween station on the Xbox last.fm that has songs like the witch doctor and monster mash, etc. It's so fun!
