More Wedding Plans!

So here is what we have decided so far....

Kona, HI Temple on August 12th

Reception in Gillette on August 20th

Colors: Kiwi/lemongrass green, apricot/burnt orange, gray/silver (we can't decide on official names)

Flowers: I definitely want hibiscus, I am thinking of going for an eclectic style and just throwing in all my faves: hibiscus, dasies, tulips, lillies, mostly orange, some white with some green mums and other doodads thrown in for fun...wouldn't that be cool?

Cake: We want a cupcake tower with white and chocolate cupcakes with probably gray frosting with alternating orange and green embellishments. We are getting a palm tree cake topper.

Dress: I don't have a dress yet, but hopefully we will be going to Utah in a couple of weeks to go dress shopping. Right now I am trying to decide if I want a big, formal dress that will really be bridal and I will be able to wear for my actual sealing, or a more beachy, fun, knee length dress that will be easier to transport and will cost less, and will show off my legs and I could get cute shoes to go with it. I wouldn't be able to wear the short dress in the temple, but because it's cheaper I could buy it for my pictures and buy a temple dress that I will be able to wear all the time instead of just once. Tommy's not wearing a tux, just a suit, so that might look weird with a super formal dress. I don't know... Anyway, here are ones I like online...

We are flying to Kona on August 11th and going straight to the marraige license place. They only do licenses at certain times during the day so we have to get to HI super early! We are getting a little worried because we haven't bought our tickets yet... Oh well, soon we will have money (we spent all of ours on the resort) luckily we both have good jobs and will be making the big bucks in a couple weeks :) Then, we are staying at the Warren's house for that night (no idea how we are getting there because it is an hour and a half away... you have to be 25 to rent a care :( ...maybe we will just fly into their town instead...) They are coming to our wedding, so we will be riding to the temple with them. We hired a photographer in Kona who will be coming to the temple and then taking us to a beach a mile away... sweet! We are staying for the week and then coming back and doing our reception. You all BETTER be there!!! ...please!
